The Bosphuraq are an intelligent alien race with physical characteristics similar to Earth avian species. The Bosphuraq are a direct client species of the Maxolhx and are on roughly the same technological level as the hated Thuranin, their chief rivals within the Maxolhx hierarchy. The Bosphuraq are the patron species of the Wurgalan, a species with squid-like physical characteristics.
The Bosphuraq used to have Thuranin as a client species, which indicates the Bosphuraq have been traveling the stars longer than the Thuranin and perhaps are an older species. There is continued hate between the two species, and it is debated that they hate each other more than they even hate the Jeraptha.[1]
Because attacking a lower-tech species may result in intervention from the Maxolhx or Rindhalu, the Bosphuraq typically have their client species, the Wurgalan, sent to fight in battles with Ruhar or Torgalau.
The Elders were an ancient race that disappeared from the Milky Way millions of years ago. Skippy the Magnificent believes they ascended to a higher level of existence.
Humans on Earth, Avalon & Jiyayuguan (Club Skippy/Jaguar) currently have no specific patrons or clients, but have achieved alliances with two species to whom they provide support. The humans on Paradise, though not technically clients of the Ruhar, must abide and are subject to Ruhar legal tenets.
