Spec Ops Team[]The original Spec Ops team aboard the Dutchman consisted of at least 25 Military Special Forces members from several countries and branches of their military, including British Army Special Air Service (SAS), Canadian Army Snipers, French Army Paratroopers, Indian Army Paratroopers, People's Liberation Army Chinese Night Tigers, U.S. Army Rangers, U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy SEALs. The surviving members of the Spec Ops teams were folded into the STARs team. |

STAR[]The Special Tactics Assault Regiment (STAR) team is an elite tier-one Special Forces Unit for the Merry Band of Pirates. They are commanded by Colonel Jeremy Smythe. Additional Military Special Forces members from the British Army Special Air Service (SAS), Canadian Army Snipers and Polish Army Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno-Manewrowego (GROM) joined the team. They are highly trained, highly focused and the top Spec Ops Force humans have ever had. They use modified Kristang powered armor suits and Thuranin combat robots (combots) during their operations. With the tactics they use, they have been able to successfully achieve victories against, the Kristang, the Thuranin and Maxolhx. Notable Members[]

Commandos[]The Commandos are 18 Spec Ops Force humans who deployed to Paradise with UNEF and eventually sign on to the Alien Legion. They were "recruited" by the Merry Band of Pirates to assist in the rescue of hundreds of humans (mostly children) who were kidnapped from Earth by the Kristang to be used for testing of a bioweapon. They use the same modified Kristang powered armor suits and Thuranin combat robots (combots) during their operations as the STAR do, only they are not as proficient with them yet. The primarily serve as backup to the STARs, which irritates them to no end. Of the 18 Commandos wanting to certify for the STAR team, very few will qualify. Notable Members[]
