Another Kristang troop transport ship, the Ice Cold Dagger to the Heart, that belonged to the Blood Fang clan of the Kristang. Modified for long distance flight, it's crew was kept in hibernation until they were to be awakened by the ship's AI when they arrived at their destination. In addition to the Blood Fang clan, it also had a complement of Achakai mercenary warriors on board. It was ultimately captured by the Merry Band of Pirates during the events of Homefront and added to humanity's small fleet. The name was shortened to simply The Dagger when it was acquired by humanity.[2] Her jump drive was down when the Maxolhx Wormhole Task Force appeared at Earth.[3] The Dagger was officially renamed the Unity by the UN because it was easier to translate in other languages. She was destroyed when the combined forces of the Bosphuraq and Thuranin, acting on orders from the Maxolhx, attacked UNEF headquarters in New York City, New York, USA and Geneva, Switzerland.[4] |
