The Mecadonn was called the Old McDonald by the humans on board. She was part of the Ruhar 7th Fleet under Admiral Kune's command and tasked with supporting the Alien Legion above Stiglord (Squidworld). It was the ship Major General Jeff Ross of the Alien Legion and his headquarters staff were aboard. The Old McDonald took maser cannon hits from the SD network. She was saved from further strikes when the battleship Voltana and the battlecruiser Tularus intervened. The Voltana jumped in and extended its shields around the Old McDonald. However, the Old McDonald still sustained damage. She a radiation leak, serious enough to evacuate the aft section of the hull, ruptured power conduits and the portside launching bays were operating on auxiliary power. Defensive shields in that section were at thirty percent and dropping. The Engineering crew bypassed the ruptured conduits and got the radiation leak contained.[1] |
