The Wurgalan are a client species to the Bosphuraq in the Maxolhx Coalition.
The Wurgalan are technically cephalopods with seven tentacles. Their ancestors were radially symmetrical beings, but upon their transition to land their body plan adjusted to a rough bilateral symmetry with six used as arms and legs, and the seventh used as a type of tail for balance.
The Wurgalan became client species to the Bosphuraq fairly recently, aiding their colonization of the space around their homeworld for following their astropolitical lead and military service in the conflict between the Maxolhx and Rindhalu Coalitions, in particular, fighting proxy wars against the Torgalau.
As is common for those species subsumed into the Maxolhx Coalition an authoritarian regime was encouraged to dominate Wurgalan Civilization even by Maxolhx standards the Wurgalan Civilization exhibited an extreme level of Xenophobia.
The Wurgalan only have one vassal species, the Urgar, which had been reduced to a few million souls in a few habitats on an uninhabitable world. There species had been pushed to the brink of extinction by destructive labor policies and only the intervention of Maxolhx managed to avert the completion of this genocide. Now they simply exist as a marginalized underclass that is subject to heavy but sustainable oppression and exploitation. .

It is said they aren't as technologically advanced as the Kristang.
The Elders were an ancient race that disappeared from the Milky Way millions of years ago. Skippy the Magnificent believed they ascended to a higher level of existence. Skippy was able to defeat them when they returned.
Humans on Earth, Avalon & Jiyayuguan (Club Skippy/Jaguar) currently have no specific patrons or clients, but have achieved alliances with two species to whom they provide support. The humans on Paradise, though not technically clients of the Ruhar, must abide and are subject to Ruhar legal tenets. The Urgar are not technically a Client species, but are under the Human's protection.
